Throughout each year the RLSS UK and IQL UK Ltd hold National, Regional and local events relating to the charitable aim of reducing water based incidents in, on or around water. These events include an annual conference, training and CPD seminars, awards and presentation evenings, trainer and assessor updates, awareness campaigns and numerous lifeguarding and lifesaving events. National Pool Lifeguard Championships

The IQL/ISRM National Pool Lifeguard Championships is a unique opportunity to motivate your lifeguards. It will freshen up your training calendar and give your team a focus to work towards in their workplace training, as well as being an exciting and rewarding competition day which will sustain interest in ongoing training leading up to and for long after the event.

IQL Symposia

The IQL Symposia is an event that we run every two years in various locations around the UK and Ireland.

The Symposia events are the most prestigious events in IQL's meeting calendar. The Symposia events cover a number of relevant selected topics in the forefront of water safety and lifeguarding.

2010

The IQL Symposia 2010 was held in London, Edinburgh and Dublin during October and November 2010.

The events were titled 'Pool Lifeguarding, Technical Inputs and Legal Outputs' and were attended by over 300 delegates, ranging from Manager's, Trainer Assessors, Lifeguards and Solicitors....

Leisure Industry Week (LIW)

IQL hold forums in conjunction with LIW at the NEC in Birmingham in September each year.

In addition to a stand in the main exhibition arena we also deliver a seminar about topics and projects that IQL are involved in with regards to their qualifications, the NPLQ and the NPMQ.
