RLSS UK would like to welcome Teresa Myatt as it new Events Co-ordinator. With more than 20 years’ experience with volunteering and working with RLSS UK branches and regions, Teresa has also been Ambassador for the West Midlands Region and Chair of Worcester and Hereford Branch.
She also has experience with competitive lifesaving sport, having previously been a competitor and a national official at RLSS UK’s Speed and National Lifesaving Championships.
At branch level, she has organised grass roots lifesaving events and National Lifesaving Championships regional heats.

She said: “I am thrilled to transfer my experience as a volunteer into this new role. I hope to increase the number of people taking part in sport and getting involved in events, encouraging people from all communities to take part in activity, no matter the level.
“I am looking forward to getting stuck in!”
RLSS UK’s CEO, Di Steer, added: “We welcome Teresa into her new role. Her vast knowledge and experience of the Society, particularly in the areas of participation and sport, will be invaluable in helping RLSS UK achieve its aims and objectives in these areas.”
