The IQL Level 3 Emergency Paediatric First Aid is a one-day course which covers a wide range of CPR and First Aid skills related to children and includes the Emergency Paediatric First Aid syllabus and also equips the first-aider to apply emergency first aid to a range of specific injuries and illness.
This course will provide the learner with an IQL Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification, which is accredited by Ofqual. The award is valid for three years as of the date of assessment.
About the Course
The Emergency Paediatric First Aid course is 6 hours in duration and can be delivered in one day or split into smaller sessions over a 4 week period. The course comprises of practical work and theoretical classroom work, including practical assessment on CPR and first aid.
Every candidate must establish prior to commencement of training for the Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification that they will be 16 years of age at the time of taking the assessment.
