Currently there is a requirement that First Aid TAs submit evidence of annual Internal Quality Assurance (IQA).  The number of IQA conducted on an annual basis is dependent upon a range of factors including:

  • Risk level assigned based on any actions imposed on previous IQAs
  • Actions imposed on current IQA
  • Risk level of the ATC/P a TA conducts activity under
  • Number of activities

In order to fully comply with the requirements laid down by our regulators we will be extending this requirement to all TAs who deliver IQL UK regulated qualifications.   

We anticipate that this requirement will be put in force for all TAs from the 1st February 2020. For First Aid TAs you must submit evidence of annual IQA now in accordance with our guidance and criteria.

In addition, it is highly recommended that all TAs conduct regular CPD exercises and attend annual IQA and standardisation training to ensure that they maintain essential high levels of competence and skills and consistency of practice.
