In September 2022, we brought back our CPR challenge in conjunction with RLSS Commonwealth. We have been promoting this lifesaving campaign since 2020 to increase awareness and confidence in performing emergency response practices. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, commonly known as CPR, is an emergency life-saving procedure that can be used when an individual’s breathing or heartbeat suddenly stops. It is a life-saving skill that everyone should have as you never know when you may need CPR to save someone's life.
This year, World Heart Day fell just after the period of national mourning, so as a Society, we made some changes to to the CPR challenge to ensure it was still accessible to as many people as possible. We were delighted to see that so many of you were able to take 10 minutes out of your day on 29th September to practice your CPR skills - whether using a manikin, pillow, or even a teddy bear!)
We've compiled a few of our favourite 2022 #CPRChallenge submissions into the following video... Thank you to everyone who took part on team RLSS UK!
