The Royal Life Saving Society UK is Delighted to confirm Ben Stevens as England manager for the upcoming Commonwealth Festival of Lifesaving.

Ben says: “I’m looking forward to working alongside some of lifesavings best coaches/athletes from England. I’m excited to be given the opportunity to create the best environment possible for the team to achieve top results.”

It is very exciting for all athletes in the UK and Ireland as the new-look Commonwealth Festival of Lifesaving comes to England. Athletes from across the Commonwealth will compete in Leeds in November at this prestigious event.

The festival aims to encourage participation and lifesaving development, and to bring together the lifesaving family. An individual skill element (similar to our own National Championships) will be held, in addition to the more traditional Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships.

Athletes who are interested in representing England at the Commonwealth Championships will be asked to register their interest shortly.

You will soon be able to register your interest to compete via the RLSS website and I strongly encourage anybody who is interested to apply.”
