Despite difficult circumstances for everyone at the moment I am still delighted to announce our partnership with PAPYRUS Suicide Prevention Charity.

When we first sat down to focus on how this partnership could develop, we talked about how we can work together to reduce the number of suicide-related drownings in the UK, gain access to confidential advice, support and training for our members.

But our priorities have changed and for now we are concentrating on signposting to their: HOPELINEUK

There are many of our younger members, particularly beach and pool lifeguards are facing uncertainty and anxious times ahead. Our aim is to provide them with support and these challenging times.

So, to all our members I say to you, that if you are having thoughts of suicide or are concerned for a young person who might be you can contact HOPELINEUK for confidential support and practical advice.

Opening hours: 9am – 10pm weekdays, 2pm – 10pm weekends, 2pm – 10pm Bank Holidays

These are unprecedented times and we all can get through this. There is help and support available, you just need to get in touch.

Together we are stronger.

Yours
