The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) are delighted and impressed with the dedication and enthusiasm shown for the William Henry Reward Programme during 2016.

Over 5000 lifesavers, representing every branch, were involved in the programme during 2016, our 125th year.

13,000 volunteer lifesaving activities were registered, which equates to 35 activities per day. From running courses, volunteering at events to jumping out of planes – our volunteers did it all!

December saw a huge influx of activity registration with more than double any previous month. In the Branch points table, it came right down to the wire with only a few points separating Branches.

The final prizes for the 2016 programme will be awarded at our annual Honours ceremony on 30 September 2017.

With the success of the 2016 programme, RLSS UK are delighted to announce that the programme will be launched again for 2017 – so start registering your activity now!
