As part of RLSS UK’s Don’t Drink and Drown campaign (6 - 12 December 2021), water rescue equipment training (WRET) was delivered at Tattershall Lakes on behalf of UK Water Parks, for those who will now be able to become lifesavers and help people if they get into trouble in the water.

There were two courses for the Security and Maintenance teams and all of those who attended got involved to ensure they understood the dangers of the water and how to rescue someone if needed. Everyone who took part in the courses was thoroughly engaged in the training as they knew how important it was that they understood how to use the equipment safely.

The teams work at the park which has seven lakes and it is great to see that they now have the skills to ensure everyone can enjoy water safely at the park.
