Anyone who knows me knows I’m not a natural runner - that was always Gian’s thing. The one time we tried to go on a run together resulted in me giving up and Gian locking me out of the house because “quitters don’t get to come indoors.” Quitters, it turns out, we’re also not allowed cake that night! It is with these words ringing in my ears that I will be taking part in the Cardiff Bay 10km Run on Sunday 31st March to raise money for the Don’t Drink and Drown Campaign.
With a two University campuses by the beach and the famous Wind 'Wine' Street close to the River Tawe, this campaign raises awareness of a real concern within our city and for our students. By raising awanress and supporting this campaign we hope to educate all Swansea students in staying safe when walking next to water after a night out of drinking.
