RLSS UK’s Be a Rookie Lifeguard campaign aims to attract more children into swimming pools and give them vital lifesaving skills in a fun and exciting way!

The #BeaRookieLifeguard campaign will encourage children to find out more and take part in RLSS UK’s Rookie Lifeguard programme.

About the Rookie Lifeguard programme

The Rookie Lifeguard programme teaches children how to swim and enjoy water safely, whether in shallow or deeper water. It is a comprehensive and exciting scheme, equipping children with lifesaving skills and builds confidence in and around bodies of water.

Each stage of the Rookie Lifeguard programme has been divided into three levels and each stage runs roughly for eight to ten weeks. Following the completion of each stage, Rookie Lifeguards can receive a certificate, badge and sticker to mark their progress in their own progress book.
