AquaPhysical introduced the original group exercise mat to the fitness world in 2014.

Their popular group exercise programme FloatFit, provides internationally accredited group exercise classes on water that incorporate strength, endurance and balance.

Currently there are three FloatFit programmes:

  • FloatFit HIIT - a high-intensity interval training session
  • FloatFit Balance - inspired by Yoga and Pilates
  • FloatFit Grow - fun and fitness for youngsters and families

The partnership between AquaPhysical and RLSS gives users confidence that FloatFit Classes and FloatFit Instructor Training are developed with water safety as a priority. This encourages new consumer groups to be active in swimming pools in a unique, exciting and safe way.

More than 400 facilities worldwide currently run FloatFit Classes for participants of all abilities from 8 years and above.

AquaPhysical founder Leila Francis Coleman says:

“We are proud to be working with RLSS UK as a Water Safety Partner. Our vision is to increase pool participation through inclusive and innovative workouts that actively promote water safety.

This endorsement provides participants, instructors and facilities reassurance that FloatFit Classes and FloatFit Instructor Training meet the highest standards of safety in and around water. And the classes are great fun!”

AquaPhysical is working with Swim England to encourage leisure facilities to develop their pool programming through new innovations such as FloatFit. This helps promote more people to enjoy the physical and mental health benefits of being active in water.

FloatFit Instructor Training is Internationally accredited by CIMSPA, NASM, AFAA, Fitness Australia, REP’s UAE and REP’s NZ.

We aim to provide a safe and effective water exercise experience.
