Sergeant (ATC) Ryan McCotter, an adult instructor in the Royal Air Force Air Cadets and an RLSS UK Lifeguard recently ran a Drowning Prevention Week campaign with the cadets from 1333 (Grangemouth Spitfire) Squadron, Air Training Corps who learned fundamental tips and skills about water safety during the campaign.

Sergeant (ATC) Ryan McCotter said, “As a military youth organisation, the Air Training Corps are constantly striving to teach and educate our cadets in life skills that will benefit them in life and with some of the activities we do as an organisation, it was an ideal campaign to run with a superb outcome.

I am a member of the RLSS UK who is shortly embarking on my Trainer Assessors course to train cadets who are over 16 in the NPLQ to broaden their horizons and give them a great  opportunity to make a difference. The Royal Air Force Air Cadets are well know for gaining qualifications and the NPLQ is no exception .”

RLSS UK would like to thank 1333 (Grangemouth Spitfire) Squadron, Air Training Corps for taking part in Drowning Prevention Week and wish good luck to Sergeant Ryan McCotter on his Trainer Assessor course!
