Job Title: Business Development Manager
Hours: 35 Hours a week (Monday-Friday)

Salary: £31,500 (plus company car)

Job Purpose:   Business Development Manager is to drive all commercial aspects of RLSS UK with a particular focus on the IQL UK business. Maximising the existing client base, ensuring that IQL UK retain their current market share and increase the amount of service lines into their business.

The Business Development Manager will work closely with the Commercial Director, Commercial Manager and Business Development Execuitve to identify new opportunities and implement new products.  The role will require delivery of training to immobilise new business.

Role and Responsibilities:

To demonstrate and uphold the Society’s values and behavioural standards at all times.

  • Work closely with the Business Development Executive to identify opportunities and sell qualifications, training and products
  • Use sales leads log to record leads and manage through to conversion
  • Convert leads by telephone, e-mail, Skype and face to face meetings
  • Maximise income by cross selling of all qualifications and products
  • Provide support and input for all RLSS UK/IQL commercial modelling and new initiatives/products
  • Liaise with Senior Marketing & PR Manager to create marketing materials, quotes and proposals
  • Support in delivery of training courses and Face to Face Forums
  • Control expenditure to achieve budgeted profit

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of IQL and RLSS UK qualifications
  • Qualified RLSS UK Trainer Assessor
