Job Title: Charity and Events Administrator
Job Type: 4 days per week
Salary: £17,561 (Pro rata - £14,049)
Location: RLSS UK HQ, Redhill House, 227 London Road, Worcester, WR5 2JG (Office based)
Reports to: Senior Head of Membership

During an exciting time for The Royal Life Saving Society UK, as we transition into a new business plan, an opportunity has arisen for an Admin Assistant to support the Charity Directorate.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing the distribution of reports and insight to key volunteers
  • Provide administration support to a team of remote staff
  • Managing the distribution of resources to volunteers
  • Provide administration support to Senior RLSS UK members and branches as directed by the Senior Head of Membership
  • Track donations and issue responses to donors
  • Support with administration for RLSS UK events and campaigns
  • Record and chase meeting actions
  • Email inbox management
  • Collation of team information for updates, bulletins and reports
  • Support with collation of statistics and measurement metrics

Person Specification

  • Self-starter with drive and enthusiasm
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Good written and verbal communicator with experience in a customer facing role
  • Excellent team player with a can-do attitude
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • It is desirable that you have proven experience of working with and communicating with volunteers and or/members

Cross-organisational working

  • Work with the Events Executive to support a centrally ran event schedule
  • Work in conjunction with the Regional Engagement Managers to support a series of public facing events and campaigns
