Sean Stevens

06 Oct 1998 - 31 Mar 2016

Sean grew up in Pershore Worcestershire with his mum, stepdad and younger brother, spending weekends with his father in Worcester who helped Sean with his love of motocross. From the age of 5 he was learning the tracks and racing, winning trophies with Team Valley Motocross group. He had a very strong passion for music, playing the acoustic and electric guitar, often serenading the family at barbeques. Sean had a very strong character and was well liked within the local community due to his wit and charm, although his rogue like tendencies frequently got him into trouble at school. Upon leaving school, Sean went on to college and had a work placement with a local joinery company learning the trade.

On the evening of March 31st 2016, Sean and some friends were walking alongside the canal, engaging in some typical horseplay. This day changed our lives forever as Sean never came home.Memories of Sean will live on through those who knew and loved him, a shining star and a warm glow in our hearts. We hope that Seans story will raise awareness of the dangers of open water, no matter how deep or where things can go wrong and lives can be lost.

We thank you for reading about our beloved Sean, and hope you can help with this cause, no matter how small a donation, or by just remembering Sean's story and teaching your children about the dangers of water, no matter what age you are.
