Lifesaving Instructor and Rookie Lifeguard Instructor Course Programme 2022 Over the course of 2022 RLSS UK are running a programme of 2-day Lifesaving Instructor and Rookie Lifeguard Instructor courses to address the shortfall of qualified instructors within the Club structure. The 2-day course is designed to give attendees the skills and qualifications to deliver both the Rookie Lifeguard Programme and the Survive and Save Programme. Those that attend the courses as a volunteer at a Lifesaving Club will undertake the courses free of charge and will have all course manuals (both physical and digital) included. Attendees will be expected to give a brief explanation of how they will utilise the course to assist their Lifesaving Club. The cost for attendees from Commercial Providers will be £100 and will include all course materials (both physical and digital). Those wishing to attend need to be a minimum of 16 years of age. You do not need to have a current RLSS UK membership in order to complete these courses. However, if you are not currently a member, please first contact [email protected]. We recommend that you do not book a hotel room until after the closing date for the course has passed, or book a refundable room, in case the course dates need to change for any reason.
