The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) is delighted to announce, that after an extensive and thorough tender process, they have appointed Tahdah Verified Ltd as their chosen technology provider, as they earmark 2020 to overhaul their online services.

As the breadth of RLSS UK’s offering to their members, customers, clubs, branches, partners and volunteers increases, it has become increasingly apparent that a cutting-edge system is needed to keep up with the progress. The new technology used will aim to streamline current processes, bringing many services ‘under one roof’ and is set to revolutionise how the Society’s many Trainers, Instructors and Approved Training Centres/Providers manage their courses and communicate with candidates.

This ‘one-stop-shop’ approach will future-proof the organisation by making the user experience quicker and more efficient in the immediate term and ultimately, moving towards a simple, paper-free process.

For the tech-savvy, the new system is a multi-tenant piece of software, providing users with a service platform capable of providing unique and bespoke functionality, designed to suit RLSS UK’s specific and multi-faceted needs. And in appointing Tahdah as their preferred supplier, RLSS UK have mirrored their Strategic Partner, the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA).

Mike Dunn, RLSS UK’s Director of Business Services said:

“For some time now, we’ve recognised our systems and procedures have been struggling to keep up with demand. It was vitally important to us that we chose an organisation that really understood how we worked, and our vision for the future of the Society.

“It’s an exciting time for RLSS UK and my colleagues and I are already working closely with Tahdah, to ensure a smooth implementation of the new technology this year.

“Our members, customers and associates rightly expect us to provide the best service in the sector, for years to come. I am confident that in appointing Tahdah, we have industry-leading experts on our side, working to make that a reality.”

“We are so excited to be partnering with RLSS UK to help them realise their vision for the future,” said Neil Rylance, CEO and Co-founder of Tahdah.

“Following a full audit of all RLSS UK software technologies it was clear that we could bring huge efficiencies to the organisation, while also cutting their technology costs. The end result has replaced nine technologies with one, fully-integrated platform. Additionally, the Tahdah platform also gives role driven access and functionality to all of RLSS UK’s stakeholders, thus creating a 360º relationship with partners and members.

“Having both RLSS UK and their strategic partner CIMSPA on the Tahdah platform, is the perfect example of Tahdah’s vision in motion. Users on Tahdah will be able to securely share fully-verified information such as CPD across multiple organisations, Trainers will be able to manage their courses and workshops for multiple organisations in one space and member benefits could be shared across multiple organisations.”

UK Water Parks, who own and manage Tattershall Water Park and Lincoln Water Park, both of which are RLSS UK accredited water parks, also benefit from using Tahdah:

“I have used Tahdah in the past for collating all of our Paddlesport instructors’ qualifications,” said UK Water Parks Director, Suzi Nightingale.

“It’s a fantastic tool for being able to monitor and track staff qualifications, training certificates and training programmes, making audits much easier.”

Gwilym Starks, Director and Head of Outdoor Activities for RLSS UK Approved Training Provider, Wet and High Adventures Ltd, added his voice in support of Tahdah:

“I have been using Tahdah for all my administration with the Mountain Training and National Navigation Award Scheme courses, for the last four years or so. It means that I can manage all my courses in one place and has reduced the amount of paperwork that is required, by about 90 per cent.

“I am able to manage bookings, allocate trainers and candidates to courses, send bulk emails and complete course reports online, in minutes. Candidates benefit from faster certification and are able to access their online account to manage their own address and contact details.”
