Honours Guidance 2022 Who may make a nomination Anybody can nominate someone else for an honour. You cannot nominate yourself for an RLSS UK Honour. Decisions about whether honours are progressed initially sit with RLSS UK Branches, once submitted they go to the National Honours Committee which includes the Former President, Deputy President and Current President. Completing a nomination It is crucial that time is taken to read the guidance and submit as much information as possible about your nominee in line with the published criteria. Read the 2022 Guidance You may find it useful to refer to our supporting information – Writing an effective citation – when completing Merit Honours. The citation is an opportunity to get your nominee recognised for their work. Nominations can be made electronically through your RLSS UK Account (powered by tahdah).
