About the Level 3 Award

The RLSS UK (awarded by QN UK) Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) is a distance learning course via an online platform, for anyone wishing to further their learning in delivering qualifications.

This award is one of the prerequisites needed for Trainer Assessors to then go on to apply to be RLSS UK First Aid Trainers and deliver the RLSS UK First Aid suite of qualifications.

It is also a prerequisite for becoming an RLSS UK Mentor.

There is a 12-month deadline to complete all work however, candidates can work through the tasks at their own pace and a realistic and achievable timeframe would be around 4 to 6 months to complete. If the course is not completed within 12 months, candidates will be charged a £60+ VAT (£72 inc.VAT) reactivation fee.

This reactivation fee is only valid within 28 days of expiry after this period you will have to register as a new candidate and pay the new candidate fees detailed below.

On enrolment, each learner will have a MS Teams call with a member of the RLSS UK Training Team to verify ID and provide access to the learning portal, this is also an opportunity to ask any initial questions. Each learner is allocated a Guidance Assessor, as well as access to eLearning content and a Learner Assessment Portfolio.

Effective from 1st January 2024, all learners will have the opportunity to submit each assignment twice - the first draft and a final submission, as per the qualification specification requirements. Any additional submissions of the assignment for marking will carry a £20+VAT (£24 inc. VAT) surcharge.
