Benefits of completing the NPMQ

The qualification was developed in direct response to findings contained in an industry survey. The survey results identified worrying knowledge gaps in both understanding, and complying with law, regulations and guidance when managing a leisure facility.

The NPMQ course:

  • Ensures the safe operation of swimming pools
  • Gives employees and employers the understanding of their legal responsibilities with regards to risk assessment
  • Improves ability to implement and review of Pool Safety Operating Procedures
  • Gives employees and employers understanding of their legal responsibilities with regards to the law in the leisure industry
