This measure will reduce Coronavirus transmission by allowing virtual access for all members and observers, thereby increasing engagement with the AGM. Members of our Trustee Board will meet at Red Hill House (227 London Road, Worcester, WR5 2JG); providing the opportunity to share 2019 achievements and announce voting results. For 2020 members are helping choose to elect three general trustees, who will shape the future direction of RLSS UK. For this voting cycle the Board are looking for candidates to have experience in one or more of the following areas: Involvement at trustee level with other charity sector organisations Extensive experience within IT environments Charitable fundraising, especially grants and bids Involvement within brand marketing In addition, members will have the opportunity to: To approve the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting To receive and consider the Trustee Board’s Report and Accounts for the period 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019. To appoint RSM UK Audit LLP as the auditors for RLSS UK for 2020. To authorise the Trustees to set the level of the auditor’s fees for 2020. Tom BartleyHelen BullCavell BurchellGraham CullenJohn HoldenLucy HerdSean KellyNeil MarshallAlan SutherlandMike Wardle Please note there is an opportunity to log back into the voting platform via your unique code. This is allowed, giving voters the chance to amend their decisions throughout the period of the vote. Many elections online permit this, as it reduces the opportunity for voter coercion and the selling of votes. RLSS UK members may feel this to be extreme within our voting demographic, but it is a facility often requested by big member organisations. It also allows candidates to canvass for your vote right up to the deadline. This functionality does not allow anyone to cast more than one vote. It just allows the final vote of each member cast to be the one that is counted. If you have gone onto the platform since this was identified to ‘see if you can vote more than once’ and just ticked anything randomly, please log back in and check your vote is as you want it to be. The last vote a member cast before the close of voting at 5pm 8 October, will be the only vote that counts. You will not be able to change your mind after this time and date and it will be this final ballot that will be counted for the results. Please be reassured your final vote is secure, and only this will be included in this election.
