Alex Gleeson will spoke about PLANNING FOR THE EMERGENCY SERVICES on Friday 23 June, at the RLSS UK Conference 2023.

Alex started his career as a lifeguard and held a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) for over 12 years. He worked in many roles in the leisure industry, operational and managerial, before embarking on a career in emergency services. Now working as a Paramedic, Alex has been responding to 999 calls for the past four years at West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) and forms part of the Special Operations Response Team (SORT) that provide support at major incidents. He has experience working at high-profile events, including the recent Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
