We are thrilled that Martin Horton from Musgrove Park Hospital will be talking about UNDERSTANDING A HEART RHYTHM SHOCKABLE / NON-SHOCKABLE on Friday, 23 June, at the RLSS UK Conference 2023.

Martin Horton

Martin is a Consultant Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Emergency Medicine and is credentialed in both Adult and Paediatric Emergency care.  He continues to work predominantly in a clinical role for the majority of his job plan as the Consultant AP in the Emergency Department at Musgrove Park in Taunton. His background was in the Royal Air Force as an Emergency and Pre-Hospital Specialist Nurse before moving into Advanced Practice in civilian emergency department care initially in Birmingham before wanting a much nicer work-life balance in the South West. He holds the Royal College of Surgeons Diploma in Immediate Care and is an educator in Advanced Life Support for both Adults and Paediatrics and on the European Major Trauma Course. He also lectures in Advanced Clinical Practice at MSc level. In his ‘spare’ time he is currently a full RNLI crew member undergoing his helm training currently.
