Prerequisites

• Aged 18 or older on the first day of the course.
• Hold a current Life Support 3 (or equivalent) qualification.
• Hold Current RLSS UK Individual Membership (candidates do not need to hold this to take the course, but it is a requirement for them to have membership to be able to teach the National Lifesaving Academy programme or related Instructor awards).
• Hold the Lifesaving Academy Tutor award (and have passed their probationary period).
• Has run at least two National Lifesaving Academy assessments in the previous 12 months.
• Has run at least two Lifesaving Academy Instructor or Rookie Instructor courses in the previous 24 months.
• Have completed the most recent Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Training for RLSS UK Members and Associates

To process your application for the Become a Lifesaving Academy Senior Tutor course, RLSS UK Enterprises Ltd ATP must collect and handle personal data in compliance with UK GDPR and the DPA18. Evidence of your award is held on your RLSS UK Account.
