The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) has a vision of communities free from drowning. We save lives by leading in lifesaving, lifeguarding, and water safety education so everyone can enjoy water safely.
Drowning is a preventable public health issue. Anyone can drown, but no one should. The Policy and Public Affairs team seeks large-scale, system change through policies, legislation, and government spending. We share our expertise, skills and knowledge with government, parliamentarians, local authorities, and other stakeholders. We ensure that decision-makers understand their critical role in preventing drowning and enabling everyone to enjoy water safely.
