With campuses in Newcastle, London and Amsterdam, Northumbria University has more than 25,000 full-time students. Through its research and partnerships, the University is known for “making the impossible, possible” and “taking on tomorrow.”

The University first approached RLSS UK early in 2021, requesting to move from another awarding organisation to RLSS UK for Lifeguarding and First Aid. In partnership with Northumbria we supported the University’s existing Trainers to become RLSS UK Trainer Assessors and be self-sufficient in delivering the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification as well as a suite of regulated First Aid qualifications.
