If you’ve ever wanted to volunteer your time at Lifesaving Sport events, we’ve made it easier than ever with the new online Sport Official (Pool) Course!

Lifesaving Sport, governed by the International Lifesaving Federation (ILS), is a dynamic and exciting swimming discipline that combines athleticism, skill, and lifesaving techniques. As the demand for trained officials in this unique sport grows, we are thrilled to introduce this specialised course designed to equip volunteers with the knowledge and skills needed to officiate pool-based Lifesaving Sport competitions.

Why Lifesaving Sport?

Lifesaving Sport is not just about athleticism; it’s about promoting water safety, rescue techniques, and emergency response skills. It’s the only sport with humanitarian origins. By officiating in Lifesaving Sport competitions, you play a crucial role in ensuring fair play and the overall success of each event. Plus, being a part of this community means contributing to a greater cause – spreading awareness about water safety and lifesaving techniques.

About the Course

Our Sport Official (Pool) course is carefully crafted to provide participants with comprehensive training in officiating pool-based Lifesaving Sport competitions. This course covers everything from understanding the rules and regulations of Lifesaving Sport, to practical officiating techniques.
