Section 3.7 Tea towel removed and T-shirt or Polo Shirt added to be used as towing aid National Lifesaving Championships - Rules If you have any technical queries about these rules, please contact the College of Referees at [email protected] Entries The Royal Life Saving Society is delighted to announce the entries for the 2022 Lifesaving National Championships open Entry Deadline 1700hrs 1 July 2022 Categories Championships and heats shall be held in the following categories: Junior Girls (12 – 14 years) Junior Boys / Mixed (12 – 14 years) Senior Girls (15 – 17 years) Senior Boys / Mixed (15 – 17 years) Ladies Individual (16+) Men’s Individual (16+) Masters Ladies (Age Groups: 30-39 years; 40-49 years; 50-59 years; 60+) Masters Men's (Age Groups: 30-39 years; 40-49 years; 50-59 years; 60+) Entry Requirements All competitors for the Championships must be in current individual category membership and hold or have held one of the awards (as listed in the rules) by 1700 hrs 1 July 2022. All competitors must remain in membership throughout their participation in the competition. Find out more information about RLSS UK membership Pre-requisites Competitors shall, at the date of entry, fulfill the following conditions: Masters, Individuals and Seniors- hold or have held a: RLSS UK Survive & Save Bronze Medallion, Beach or Stillwater Award (or higher) Platinum Jubilee Medallion, or RLSS UK Beach Lifeguard qualification or RLSS UK Pool Lifeguard qualification, including RLSS UK Assistant Beach Lifeguard. Juniors – hold or have held a current RLSS UK Survive & Save Bronze Medallion, Beach or Stillwater Award (or higher), Platinum Jubilee medallion, or Rookie Silver Level 3.
