Guest Blogger Tina Smith, Save a Baby’s Life Co-ordinator for Kent Branch, has shared with us the work that goes into getting ready for a baby show.

I always start with the three P’s, plan, prepare, and prepare some more. There is always more to be done when working towards a baby show, or two in Kent this year, so planning is crucial.

So far, plans for Glow Bluewater Baby & Toddler Show from the 25th to 27th April are going well and tickets can be booked online. The volunteers have kindly confirmed their time but there is always room for more – if anyone wants to join us?

The next step is to update the presentation for the Expert Workshop. Fred Rowland and I will be presenting the choking element of the Save a Baby’s Life programme. We have also had confirmation of our entry into Baby & Toddler Show number two which will be taking place at the Country Show Ground, Detling, Kent on 22nd June. The show is for one day only and the team and I will be on hand to answer questions between 10 am – 4 pm. Tickets are available to book online.

Anyway, back for more preparation and I hope to be blogging to let you know how the shows went!

If you or your Branch are interested in running a baby show, Tina Smith is always happy to pass on her experience in setting up and preparing a stand. Email [email protected] for more information.
