RLSS UK have been working with the guys at Cap2 to help increase the functionality of CoursePro, making it easier for swim teachers to record and access the achievements of their pupils.

The announcement that Rookie Lifeguard will be added to CoursePro, means that not only will it help with increasing the awards that operators can offer but most importantly will improve water safety.

“Enjoyed by children and valued by parents, Rookie Lifeguard is extremely popular and we want to encourage more children to take part to learn vital lifesaving skills.  For operators, the scheme helps to build their reputation as socially responsible organisations, while allowing them to generate significant income from their customers,” said RLSS UK’s Deputy Director of Education and Research, Mike Dunn.

As of now, you can import the Rookie Lifeguard course into your CoursePro system, making it easy to start running Rookie classes.

This means teachers will now be able to record and assess achievements in class using the set Rookie Lifeguard stages.

It will also mean that parents will be able to review their child’s progress at home or on the go using their personal HomePortal site.

We hope this addition to the CoursePro helps to improve the offering of swim schools whilst bringing lifeguard courses to the front of their agendas!
