The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) is delighted to start 2020 with news that yet another of the UK’s leading leisure operators, has signed up for three years.

Stevenage Leisure operates 25 indoor and outdoor facilities, including 12 swimming pools across its estate. The trust has worked with RLSS UK for a number of years and has opted to extend its long-term partnership, by entering into a new multi-year contract with the UK’s foremost water safety charity.

Stevenage Leisure’s lifeguards will continue to be qualified in the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), which meets CIMSPA’s professional standard for lifeguarding.

Sharon Hunter, Training Manager at Stevenage Leisure, said:

“RLSS UK offers the best lifeguarding qualification in the UK and the high standards that we want within our lifeguard team. They are always on hand to listen to any concerns and provide information and advice to the Approved Training Centres, Trainer Assessors and lifeguards.

“With such good support and high standards at competitive prices, we were never going to change who we use for our lifeguarding qualifications.”

“As the UK’s leading provider of water safety training and education, having Stevenage Leisure sign up with us for another three years is a fantastic way to start the new year!” explained RLSS UK’s Director of Commercial Operations, Jo Talbot.

“Both RLSS UK and Stevenage Leisure are committed to ensuring more and more people can enjoy the water safely, and with a dedication to professional, robust ongoing staff training, Stevenage Leisure customers know they’re in good hands.
