In the spring, we had a series of Face to Face Forum events scheduled at thirty locations across the country. We were looking forward to sharing new opportunities such as the launch of our new system, set to revolutionise our online services, as well as a new strategic direction for the Society, but, unfortunately, they were unable to go ahead. We didn’t want you to miss out on these all together, so we have decided to host a Virtual Face to Face Forum. This online event is part of RLSS UK’s ongoing commitment to supporting our impressive network of Trainer Assessors (TAs) and Approved Training Centre/Providers (ATC/Ps). It will provide the opportunity to:
• Keep up to date with the latest news and developments from RLSS UK • Fine-tune your training and assessing knowledge • Feedback on RLSS UK awards and qualifications• Hear about the latest products, guidance and special offers available
“Face to Face Forums were set up to ensure our network of Trainer Assessors feel supported in their work, that their opinion matters and they are at the forefront of RLSS UK news, plans and innovations.”
“Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is incredibly important in maintaining the high standard of our qualifications and the practical skills exercises that have been carried out by participants at previous events, have proven to be the most popular and the biggest conversation starters!”David Springthorpe, Qualification & Workforce Support Manager and Face to Face Forum Lead Trainer, RLSS UK.
“I and two other colleagues, attended the Face to Face Forum at Water Meadows Swimming and Fitness Complex, hosted by David Springthorpe from RLSS UK. David gave a warm welcome and created a friendly but professional atmosphere. His knowledge of the subject matter was excellent and very in-depth. He provided an interactive session that involved everyone, and the pace of the update was just right. It was well-structured and, he informed the audience with up-to-date information on what’s happening with RLSS UK and their aims and plans for the future. The event made me feel involved, connected, and part of the RLSS UK family. I would highly recommend the Face to Face Forums to any TA for the great service provided, the knowledge you take away from the session and, the opportunity it provides to ask your questions. They make you feel part of something and, therefore, I look forward to future sessions of this kind.” Jamiee Bend (MCIMSPA), Duty Manager, Go! Active @ The Arc, Chesterfield
