The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) is delighted to announce a new strategic partnership with TWF International Ltd (The Wetsuit Factory).

TWF have been designing, manufacturing and distributing wetsuits from Cornwall, UK for over fifty years. With their work they also strive to educate their customers and ensure that everyone can enjoy the water safely.

TWF is proud to have been the first company to use swing tags to spread key information about beach flags, what to do in an emergency and encourage people to visit a lifeguarded beach. With the formation of the strategic partnership, TWF will now be directing their customers to the RLSS UK website to learn more about staying safe when in and around water on their swing tags.

TWF provide wetsuits and accessories for a range of customers. From entry level to high end technical, they have products at various prices to ensure that everyone can access the correct equipment to be able to enjoy the water.

With many families heading to the water this summer and potentially purchasing their first TWF wetsuit, the partnership means that even more families and young people will have clear accessible safety information available to them, so they are able to enjoy their summer break.

Lee Cooper, Managing Director said “We are proud to support RLSS UK and their good work. Together our goal is to make water safety information easily accessible for everyone, no matter their water-based activity.

“By adding the RLSS UK QR code to our tags we can provide our end users with free access to a wealth of detailed resources, making their leisure time in or near water enjoyable and safe.”

TWF also sponsored the Water Safety All Parliamentary Party Group (APPG) launch of the 2022 UK National Drowning Report which was authored by RLSS UK, allowing the publication of vital statistics and recommendations for the UK Government.

Lee Heard, Charity Director at RLSS UK said, “We are delighted to form a strategic partnership with TWF. They have already provided us with invaluable support through their sponsorship of the latest National Drowning Report and we are looking forward to continuing this relationship moving forwards to ensure that even more families have access to water safety advice.

“Having a link to our safety advice on the swing tags of TWF wetsuits is an extremely important and positive step forwards to provide their customers with free resources to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge to safely enjoy a summer in or near the water.”
