RLSS UK to work with British Triathlon on first aid training 12/07/2023 The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) is pleased to further its relationship with Strategic Partner - British Triathlon by supporting them with their bespoke first aid training courses. The partnership will see RLSS UK upskill a variety of British Triathlon clubs, coaches and volunteers around England and Wales, facilitating bespoke First Aid training for triathlons. RLSS UK and British Triathlon share common goals and first started working together in May 2017 as partners on the Beyond Swim accreditation project, formerly known as SH₂OUT. The project was launched to bring the open water swimming community together and provide an accreditation certifying venues that have met a minimum level of safety in their documentation and open water swimming operation. Nick Grazier, Senior Head of Commercial Projects & Partnerships, RLSS UK, said: "We are delighted that British Triathlon has chosen RLSS UK as their first aid partner, and we look forward to fulfilling their bespoke training needs. We are privileged to support many organisations and businesses with more bespoke training needs as well as awarding over 60,000 qualifications and awards to individual candidates each year. Andy Salmon, British Triathlon CEO, added: “It’s great to be working so closely with RLSS UK to deliver First Aid training for our community. We enjoy a strong partnership on the Beyond Swim programme and look forward to continuing that and providing our members with high-quality training.” Triathlon coaches can book their First Aid training course now by clicking here.
