Virtual Pool Lifesaving League: Entry Requirements The Virtual Pool Lifesaving League is free to enter. Clubs must: Be an affiliated RLSS UK Club Have qualified Lifesaving Instructors/Head Coach/Swim Teacher on-site during the event Individual participants must: Be competent and capable of taking part in the event. Be competent to dive in accordance with RLSS UK’s Diving Competency Checklist - if competing using a dive entry, otherwise, the participant must start in the water. Categories Age is no barrier; we want everybody to use the league to set personal goals and transition back into lifesaving sport. To compile the results, categories will follow the categories familiar in the National Speeds finals Categories will also be divided into Male and Female Enter into the category that covers their age as at 31 December 2021. (For example, if a participant turns age 15 on 6 November, they must enter the 15-17-Years at the start of the league) Youth Open Masters 12 - 14 Years 18 - 29 Years 30 - 39 Years 15 - 17 Years 40 - 49 Years 50 Years + Individual Events There is a mixture of events for clubs and athletes to consider. Each event can be entered on an individual basis. Clubs and athletes are not required to enter all or multiple events. Choose what events you love, and why not give new events a try? This is a perfect opportunity to try something new and pit yourself against other athletes across the UK and Ireland. Instructors are required to set up their events based on full, complete lengths, covering a distance as close as possible to the events published.
