Aqua Parks

The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) facilitate the UK’s first accreditation scheme for UK aqua parks, created by The Aqua park Association Uk and Ireland. The scheme introduces a recognised and consistent safety standard, making accredited aqua parks some of the safest in the world.

Enjoy a great aqua park experience at an RLSS UK Approved Aqua Park, with peace of mind about high levels of safety.

Our Approved Aqua Parks

Venues

 Silver – Operational

The Silver accreditation indicates that the Aqua Park has the correct documents, procedures, staff, and training in place for all sessions they run and they hold a declaration of compliance for all the equipment in place from the manufacturer stating it meets ISO 25649.

 Gold – Operational and Equipment

The Gold accreditation indicates that the Aqua Park meets all of the operational standards as in silver, in addition to this all of their equipment is third-party-tested by a recognised test centre and certified that it meets ISO 25649.

Equipment Testing, the RLSS UK and the Aqua Park Association of UK and IRL are not qualified to complete testing on equipment to ensure it meets ISO 25649 and therefore can only accept a third-party certificate from a registered testing house/inspection body as firm evidence that the equipment meets the standard. The law in the UK does not require manufacturers to third-party-test, but it does require the manufacturer to confirm that the equipment complies with the relevant safety standard, RLSS UK and the Aqua Park Association are not suggesting there is any difference in the quality of products from different manufacturers and the award GOLD is based on producing the third-party certificates for each piece of equipment.
