What We Do Our Clubs Club Check RLSS UK acknowledge that a large amount of lifesaving activity is in a club environment and to ensure the health of the Society into the future we need strong, safe and sustainable clubs. Club Check recognises high standards of governance, sustainability and effectiveness. Supports clubs with governance, growing membership, developing volunteers and helping to meet the industry needs. Club Check consists of 3 levels – Probationary, Affiliated and Accredited. It is accredited every 2 years. Club check replaces the Club Development Programme, and all clubs will need to re-apply. Any club with an RLSS UK Club Membership can apply, regardless of size or activities delivered. All club committees and branches have been contacted directly with all the information relating to ‘Club Check’ FAQs Where can I find the Club Check criteria, templates and documents to complete the accreditation? Please log in to your personal RLSS UK Account, click resources, scroll down to the ‘Club Check Accreditation’ folder, in here you will find everything you need to achieve the accreditation. To have access to this folder you will need to be assigned either ‘Club Admin’, ‘Club Chair’ or ‘Club designated Safeguarding lead’ on the RLSS UK Club account. Visit your RLSS UK Account Who can apply for Club Check accreditations? All RLSS UK Clubs can apply. How long does it take to complete this accreditation? This accreditation will be more of a checking, updating and uploading documents to their RLSS UK Club account. Most of our RLSS UK Clubs should already have the processes and policies in place to ensure they are following a high level of compliance within their club, so should not involve too much extra time.
