Georgina is the youth advisor to the board of trustees.

She has been involved with the RLSS UK from the age of ten. She is passionate about youth development, community connection and outreach, as well as lifesaving sport. She will be working with the Youth Advisory Board to represent youth within the society as well as implement new initiatives.

Her involvement with the RLSS UK has been in several different areas. She started as a youth program participant, doing the Rookie Lifeguard, Survive and Save and Young Leader courses. Georgina is a qualified Trainer Assessor (TA) and now teaches RLSS UK courses and awards at her local club. She went on to compete at national and international competitions, her biggest achievement was becoming youth world champion in 2016. She continues to compete but enjoys coaching during the events. She has also lifeguarded at several events with the event safety team as a volunteer, including the Great North Swim, Henley Royal Regetta and Wilderness Festival.

Georgina said: "I am excited to provide representation and perspective as the youth advisor. I want to provide young people with opportunities and experiences to develop as lifesavers and future leaders."
