The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is awarded to more lifeguards than any other pool lifeguard qualification in UK and Ireland– this was a staggering 41,289 lifeguards in 2018. 2. The NPLQ is independently assessed by RLSS UK Trainer Assessors – helping to ensure consistent quality of delivery and assessment. 3. NPLQ is the only UK qualification recognised across the globe – meaning you can work or volunteer as a lifeguard in many different countries. 4. We have over 5,000 RLSS UK Trainer Assessors qualified to train and assess our aquatic qualifications. 5. We support the delivery of the NPLQ with a wide range of technical advice and support including Face-to-Face Forums, telephone and online advice. 6. It is very easy and cost effective to ‘bolt on’ additional qualifications to the RLSS UK NPLQ including Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Management of Anaphylaxis, Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and First Aid Work (FAW) enabling you to tailor the needs of your qualification. 7.
