Tracy Hickson, Co-ordinator of the Bluetits Chill Swimmers at Calshot, approached the club to ask if they could do a rescue skills type session for their group. She had seen the club on duty on Sundays at Calshot Beach, and had watched their volunteer beach lifeguards training, and also the club’s youngsters training for the Beach Bronze Star award. Led by Simon Port and with the help of Jill Bailey and Elain & Daniel Watkins, the group completed the Water Smart Award. A comment from one of the participants: “We had an amazing day and learned some great skills. Such fun too. Thank you” Find out more about our Water Smart Award Manage Cookie Preferences
