There are no award requirements for competitors; however all competitors should be physically able to complete their chosen event(s) within the 50m long, 3m deep pool. Additionally, competitors should be familiar with the skills within the Rookie Lifeguard and Survive and Save manuals It will be a requirement that each participating club provides the services of a volunteer to act as a timekeeper for the duration of the championship and a manikin. It is strongly advised that volunteers acting as timekeepers have achieved the RLSS UK Timekeeper Award. To access the Timekeeper Award, please either login to your RLSS UK Account (powered by tahdah) or create your account if you are new to RLSS UK. Please note a change to one of the age groups this year is now 15-18 to align with ILS youth category. The age of a competitor is calculated based on their age on 31st December 2022. To check if your membership and award status login to your RLSS UK Account (powered by tahdah) Team Manager Meeting The Team Manager Meeting will take place in the official's room, time to be confirmed. In the best interests of the competitors, managers are requested to attend this meeting to ensure that they understand the championship conditions and to be provided with information relating to the operation of the event.
