What We Do Our Awards Community Instructor Community Instructor is the qualification needed to deliver the Save a Life Series, RLSS UK’s Community Outreach Programme: Save a Baby’s Life Save a Child’s Life Save an Adult’s Life Save a Series AED Who can deliver the Community Instructor Qualification? Lifesaving Instructors (and Tutors)Trainer Assessors (and higher) What are the course pre-requisites? By aged 16 years or older Hold a current Life Support 3 Award (can be taken during this module). Candidates who hold medical qualifications will often have learned discipline specific CPR techniques, through completing the Life Support 3 Award all Community Instructors will be familiar with the RLSS UK approved techniques Hold RLSS UK Membership. 6 months membership will be given to any non-members attending this course. It is the Instructors responsibility to maintain this membership How many candidates can you have on a course? 1 Instructor Tutor to 12 candidates (up to 24 candidates with 2 or more Instructor Tutors) How long does it take to run this course?
